This Refund Policy applies to courses on IPCP Global, the online counselling and psychotherapy training website of the Institute of Professional Counseling and Psychotherapy (ipcpglobal.org). Courses are delivered digitally through our learning platform, so there are no physical products to return and no shipping is involved.
Free courses
Our free introductory course, Introduction to Counselling, is free to enrol on and carries no charge, so no refund applies to it.
Paid courses
When you enrol on a paid course, you pay the course fee shown on the course page at checkout. Course materials are available online immediately after enrolment, so a refund cannot be guaranteed in every case.
When a refund may apply
A refund may be considered where there is a genuine problem with your enrolment or access, for example a technical problem that prevents you from accessing a course you have paid for, or an enrolment made in error. Each request is reviewed on a case-by-case basis, on its own merits. This policy does not state a fixed refund period, and no refund is guaranteed.
Instalments
Where a course page offers payment in instalments, each instalment is a payment toward the same course fee. If you pay in instalments and request a refund, please tell us which payments you have already made so that we can review them. Any refund agreed relates only to amounts already paid. If no instalment option is shown on a course page, the full course fee is payable at enrolment.
How to request a refund
Please contact us promptly after the problem arises, through the Contact page, with your name, the course name, your order details, and a description of the problem. We will review your request and reply with the outcome.
If a refund is agreed
Where a refund is agreed, it will be returned using the original payment method (PayPal or Stripe). The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on the payment provider and your bank, and is outside our direct control.
Certificates
Certificates are issued on successful completion of a course, as described on the course page. If you have a question about a certificate, please contact us through the Contact page.
Changes to this policy
IPCP Global may update this policy from time to time, including adding or changing a refund period. The version published on this page applies to new requests.
